SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week

North Queensland is becoming one of Australia's premier sailing destinations. The 19th Annual SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week will offer first-class racing on the crystal blue waters of Cleveland Bay from Thursday 27th August to Wednesday 2nd September 2026, following on from the Airlie Beach and Hamilton Island Race Weeks and is the finale of the Queensland Season of Sailing.

Magnetic Island, which is situated off the coast of Townsville within the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, will once again play host to the SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week, in the backyard of this beautiful tropical paradise - a fresh adventure on the Australasian off-shore scene.
